Title - Data Management Consultant (Data CatalogMDM)
Location - Stockholm or Remote.
Rate - up to 1400 SEK.
Full-time or Part-time Available

We are seeking a Data Catalog Consultant with expertise in designing, implementing, and optimizing data catalog solutions. In this role, you will collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless metadata management, enhance data discoverability, and enable effective data governance practices. Your work will empower organizations to unlock the full value of their data assets by creating an accessible, well-structured, and dynamic data cataloging ecosystem.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead the design and deployment of data catalog solutions tailored to organizational needs, leveraging tools like Collibra, Alation, Google Data Catalog, or similar platforms.
- Develop metadata strategies, ensuring consistent classification, tagging, and documentation of data assets to improve usability and governance.
- Configure integrations with various data sources (databases, data lakes, analytics platforms) and automate metadata ingestion and updates.
- Design workflows and processes to enhance data discoverability for technical teams, analysts, and business stakeholders.
Looking for a motivated and detail-oriented professional with the following skills and experiences:
Required:
- Proven experience with data cataloging tools and platforms (e.g., Collibra, Alation, Google Data Catalog, Informatica, or similar).
- Strong understanding of metadata management, data lineage, and classification techniques.
- Knowledge of modern data architecture, including data lakes, data warehouses, and cloud platforms like AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud.
- Experience implementing enterprise-wide data cataloging solutions in large organizations.
Preferred:
- Familiarity with data governance frameworks (e.g., DAMA, Data Mesh) and regulatory compliance requirements (e.g., GDPR, CCPA).
- Experience with data quality and data governance tools.
- Experience conducting training sessions and building user adoption strategies for data tools.
- Agile project management experience.
