Title - Data Management Consultant (MDM)
Location - Stockholm or Remote.
Rate - up to 1400 SEK.
Full-time or Part-time Available
Start - 6th of January.
This is a unique opportunity for you to take part in defining the data management capabilities within company. You will take the lead in designing the target architecture for our data management capabilities that aim to enable a unified data ecosystem that serves the needs of the enterprise. You will need to evaluate the current capabilities and tooling in order to arrive at a proposal for the future state we are able to provide fit for purpose data for both operational and analytical use of data. You will do this in collaboration with our data governance specialists and information architects who lead the implementation of federated data governance for the company. In this role you will be a part of Business Tech and belonging to the “Data Governance & Community” Unit within the “AI, Analytics and Data” Tech Center.
Responsibilities
In the role of a Data Management Architect within the company you can expect to work with following topics:
- Do a high level analysis of current data management capabilities and tooling. Existing pre-studies have been done in different knowledge areas, e.g. Master Data Management, but an overall estimation is needed in order to define a future state.
- Drive the work for defining a target architecture for data management capabilities, with a high level roadmap suggestion for potential tech investments.
- Drive collection of requirements during the course of the work in order to prepare for an RFI/RFP for potential tech investments.
- Act as subject matter expert for data management, educating the team and the organization as a whole in the different areas of data management and how these areas will need to collaborate in order to achieve fit for purpose data.
Qualifications/Experience Required
- Experience in implementing data management and data governance in large global enterprises.
- Experience in driving target architecture work within data management.
- Experience in driving pre-studies and RFI/RFP work for acquiring technology.
- Experience and detailed understanding about available tooling for data management and governance, and preferably hands on experience from working with some of the tools.
- Excellent verbal communication and documentation capacity in English.
