We are currently looking for several Operation Engineers for a large technology company.
Duration: 18 months contract with possibility for extension.
Starting date: Flexible
Remote: 75%. Being onsite for a couple of days a month will be OK
German language skills : at least B2
Location: Berlin
Your area of responsibility
- Responsibility for reported customer problems and following them through to resolution
- Investigate, diagnose and identify solutions to resolve issues in the services
- Adhering to the specified processes for escalating unresolved issues to the relevant internal teams
- Monitoring SLO alerts and error budgets
- Management of the incident response flow with regard to the applications used
- Identification and implementation of automation options
- Processing and resolving open support tickets in compliance with SLAs
- Coordination with different stakeholders to carry out blameless post-mortems
Your profile
- Successfully completed studies with a focus on computer science, completed training in the IT sector or an equivalent qualification
- Professional experience in IT operations or production support
- Practical experience with Linux platforms
- Expertise in dealing with: Proxmox, OpenStack, OpenShift, Artifactory Enterprise, Ansible, Kubernetes, Docker, PostgresSQL, Grafana, Prometheus, Gitlab, Terraform, Jira, Confluence, etc.
- Knowledge of one of the programming languages: Python, Bash Scripting, Go or Perl
- Ability to work in a team, flexibility and willingness to work in a 24x7 (incentive) support model
- German language skills at least at B2 level and a good command of English
