Vilde Lien Business Manager - Client Partnerships

ABOUT

Originally from Bergen in Norway, Vilde moved to the UK in 2012 to study Psychology at Durham University and later to London where she worked in media recruitment for the London market. After five and a half years in the UK, she wondered if the grass was greener on the Scandinavian side, and went back to Norway to do a six-month inhouse recruitment contract before deciding to move back to London to join Thor Companies in 2018.

Being in the Client Partnerships team, Vilde is responsible for setting up agreements that are in line with, or an exciting addition to, our client portfolio and ensuring that we have varied offerings for our candidates. She is also passionate about ensuring that our relationships are long-lasting and well looked after, with good processes that play to both the Clients’ and Thor's strengths. 

Outside of work, she enjoys reading – though it’s a while ago now, working in a bookstore alongside school was time well spent. Travelling to Norway for some skiing is a must every winter, whereas spare time in London is spent socialising and enjoying all that London has to offer.
