Security Project Manager – Data Centre Projects – Finland
Role Overview
An experienced Security Project Manager is required to lead the delivery of security system installations within data centre and mission-critical environments in Hamina, Finland.
This role is responsible for managing site operations, coordinating subcontractors and labour, and ensuring access control, CCTV, alarm systems, and associated security infrastructure are installed, tested, and handed over safely, on time, and to the required quality standards.
This position suits a strong site-based leader with experience in security systems, critical environments, and high-security facilities.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage day-to-day site delivery of security systems installations
- Supervise subcontractors, installers, and specialist vendors across multiple work fronts
- Oversee installation of access control, CCTV, alarms, and associated cabling/infrastructure
- Coordinate labour, materials, permits, access, and sequencing of works
- Monitor programme, progress, quality, and safety compliance on site
- Support testing, commissioning, snagging, and final system handover
- Maintain site documentation including reports, inspections, and as-built records
- Act as the main site contact for contractors, client teams, and project stakeholders
Experience & Requirements
- Minimum 3+ years’ experience in security systems or site/project management
- Strong background in access control, CCTV, alarms, and security infrastructure
- Experience working on Data Centres (as a must), as well as mission-critical or high-security projects
- Ability to read technical drawings, schematics, and commissioning documentation
- Strong understanding of site coordination, subcontractor management, and project reporting
- Fluent English and strong communication skills
- Must have the legal right to work in the EU
Preferred Certifications
- VCA / SCC certification (minimum requirement)
- VOL-VCA preferred for management-level roles
- IPAF, BHV, or equivalent site safety certifications advantageous
