The role
- Technically and strategically lead data center design and delivery
- Lead a team of engineering experts, including mechanical & electrical
- Collaborate with external and internal engineering teams
- Deliver data center cooling (liquid and air), power, UPS, switchgear, electrical systems
- Develop templates and technical specifications (mechanical and electrical)
- Strategic planning of capacity upgrades ad systems upgrades
Requirement
- Professional Engineer (P.E.) - Required
- Electrical Engineering Degree
- Experience managing an engineering team
- Electrical engineering and/or MEP leadership experience
- Data Center design and electrical code
- Solid understanding of data centers, electrical plant, mechanical plants, cooling systems etc
- Understanding of construction principles and application to data centers
