The rapid expansion of hyperscale and colocation data centers across the United States had created unprecedented demand for commissioning expertise, while the supply of experienced professionals remained extremely limited. Impact CX required highly specialised commissioning engineers, project managers, and technical leads with proven data center experience, deep knowledge of mission-critical environments, and the ability to operate across multiple states and fast-tracked project schedules.
This talent shortage was further intensified by intense competition from rival commissioning firms and contractors, many of whom were offering premium compensation packages to secure the same small pool of qualified candidates.
