We are looking for a Document Controller to manage and maintain all project documentation. You will ensure that documents are properly recorded, distributed, and archived in compliance with company procedures. Your role supports project teams by maintaining version control, ensuring data accuracy, and facilitating effective communication across all stakeholders.
What You’ll Do:
You will establish and maintain document control systems, organize and archive project files, and monitor document workflows to meet project deadlines. You will ensure compliance with legal, contractual, and organizational standards, generate status reports, and provide guidance to the project team on document control processes and tools.
Key responsibilities include:
- Establishing and maintaining document control systems with proper version control
- Organizing, recording, and archiving project documents such as contracts, drawings, permits, and reports
- Monitoring the flow of documents between internal and external stakeholders to meet deadlines
- Ensuring all documentation adheres to legal, contractual, and company standards
- Generating and distributing regular reports on document submissions and approvals
- Providing guidance and training to the project team on document control processes
- Managing access to project documents and enforcing deadlines
Who we're looking for:
You hold a Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field, and have 3–5 years of experience in document control or project engineering, preferably in construction projects. You are highly organized, detail-oriented, and proactive, with excellent communication skills to coordinate effectively with multiple stakeholders. You thrive in fast-paced environments and can manage priorities efficiently.
Qualifications & Skills:
- Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or related field
- 3–5 years of experience in document control or project engineering
- Strong understanding of document control practices and project lifecycle documentation
- Familiarity with construction and engineering documentation requirements
- Proficiency in document control software and MS Office Suite
- Excellent organizational, time management, and communication skills
- Fluency in English, written and spoken
- Proactive, adaptable, and detail-oriented
