2012

Born in the UK

Established by young, ambitious recruitment consultants back in 2012 in London, UK, Thor Companies was born out of the desire to create a dynamic and vibrant company that challenged the status quo of what being a recruiter was all about.

2013

#ThorOnTour

Work hard, play hard. Success means celebration, such as company-wide incentive trips to Miami, New Orleans, The Hamptons, Puerto Rico, Park City and Canada.

2016

Global Expansion

With continued growth, we opened our third international office in New York and upgraded our London HQ.

2019

Growth Mindset

Open minded and curious, our culture embodies lifelong learning. By constantly evolving to fit the changing needs of all our stakeholders, and in support of our people's personal development goals, 2019 was the year we invested in a Learning & Development function.

2020

New NYC Office

Not only did we upgrade to a bigger and better office in Williamsburg, but we were also awarded with a “Great Place To Work" accridation. We also established our first global in-house Marketing team to support our ever-growing business.

2021

Summer Trip to Miami

With over 100 employees working at Thor globally, our New York team celebrated our first AGM in Brooklyn and summer incentive trip in Miami.

We're also opening new offices in Los Angeles and Copenhagen!

2022

10 Years Anniversary

Let’s set the scene: 120 + employees from our London, New York, Stockholm and Copenhagen offices all flown out to Cannes in the French Riviera- an all expenses paid trip to celebrate Thor Companies huge 10-year anniversary.

Global Super Trip

This year marked a first for Thor Companies with the launch of the Global Super Trip. Bringing together our Top Performers from our offices across the globe, they were treated to 3-days in the Barcelona sun as a well deserved reward for their outstanding performances.
