ABOUT

Erik specialises in the Energy market in Norway within the Buildings sector. He was born and raised in Oslo, Norway and so he enjoys the fact that working at Thor has allowed him to use his mother tongue in a more professional setting, as well as getting the chance to be based in London but work in Norway. He said about working at Thor: "Thor really is the best of both worlds, the mix of Scandinavian and British culture is what makes Thor stand out for me". 

In his role, he enjoys speaking to high-skilled people every day. One of the things he enjoys the most about recruitment is being able to connect with people and form new relationships. When looking at our portfolio, he thinks nurturing relationships, both candidates and clients, plays a vital part in his role. The thought of helping someone change career paths, guiding them through a decision-making process, and seeing them succeed in a new role excite him.

Outside of work, Erik likes to stay active and busy. He is heavily driven by routine, so always has something planned. He plays football on Sundays, goes out with friends, and enjoys a drink or two.
