ABOUT

Starting Engineering Recruitment in 2013, Marcus considers himself fortunate enough to have had exposure to several markets including; oil & gas, civil engineering, buildings, transmission & distribution, rail, and power station projects. 

Most of his success has been in Scandinavia. Firstly from doing placements himself, then spearheading the growth of the Engineering Unit to be able to deliver to multiple partners and geographies. What he loves about working in the region is the loyalty partners show Thor once the team proves they can “back our chat”! He's proud that the team have been able to build efficient and long-lasting relationships in a market where it can be difficult to hire people. Once this is established, recruitment is far more smooth and simple.

He likes to think of Thor as a forward-thinking recruitment company both to our staff and our business partners who live up to their core values every minute of every day. 

His catharses includes spending time with his partner and their beautiful son and he has a major passion for sport – golf, running and football in particular. His summer holidays are often spent in Sweden at Varamon Beach in their family home. If you’re lucky enough to visit in July, he's sure you would see him with his “go fast” sunglasses on pounding the asphalt!
