What did you get up to on the trip? Were there any standout moments or experiences from the trip that you'd like to share with us?
The entire trip was the perfect balance of fun and relaxation. We spent time playing beach volleyball, soaking up the sun, and enjoying some truly amazing lunches at the beach clubs. But if I had to pick a standout moment, it would be the boat trip. We set off on a catamaran that sailed around Ibiza with the sun shining, music playing, and everyone in great spirits. It was one of those moments where you could really feel the energy of the group – the laughter, the incredible views, and just that sense of being in the right place with the right people. It really brought everyone together and created memories I won’t forget!

Travelling with colleagues can be a unique experience. How did the trip strengthen your relationships with your co-workers, and did you make any new connections during the journey?
One of the best parts about the trip was the chance to see everyone outside of the usual work environment. It’s different when you're not in the office – you get to know people on a more personal level, which really helps to build stronger relationships. We weren’t just talking about work; we were having fun together, which made the experience even more memorable. Spending time from morning to evening with colleagues, sharing laughs and stories, helped us bond in a way that’s not always possible during a busy workday. It really gave us a chance to strengthen those connections and it was great to see everyone’s personalities shine through!
How would I sum up this trip? Amazing food, amazing people, amazing experience.
What will you take away from this experience, both professionally and personally?
It was an unforgettable trip with an incredible group of people. Professionally, what really stood out to me was how diverse we are as a team. We come from different backgrounds and have such unique personalities, yet we all work together seamlessly. It’s a reminder of how important diversity is, not just in the workplace but in our experiences outside of work too. It was easily one of the best weekends we’ve all had in a long time. Personally, it was my first time visiting Ibiza, so that in itself was an exciting experience – the culture, the energy, and the beautiful surroundings. It’s something I’ll definitely carry with me.

Not only do we get to stay in amazing hotels and enjoy incredible activities, but it’s all paid for, which is a huge perk. Beyond the fun, these trips strengthen collaboration and performance when we return to the office. Spending time together outside of work helps us build stronger relationships, which directly impacts how well we work together as a team. Thor really invests in making sure we have these experiences, and it makes a difference when it comes to our team spirit and motivation.
