- Coordinate with trade partners and vendors for delivery inspections, installation checks, point-to-point testing, loop verification, and system energization.
- Conduct on-site electrical testing, troubleshoot deficiencies, and ensure accurate documentation through commissioning software.
- Assign and oversee electrical energy isolation marshals, ensuring strict adherence to LOTO procedures and safety protocols.
- Support the CxA during functional testing, integrated systems testing, UPS load simulations, and utility switching scenarios.
- Work closely with Mechanical Commissioning Leads to ensure cohesive system performance across electrical and mechanical interfaces.
- Perform quality inspections at key milestones and review torque reports, megger test results, wiring verifications, and control system documentation.
- Support vendor training sessions for operations teams and assist in final turnover documentation, as-built records, and commissioning closeout packages.
- Maintain strict compliance with company safety policies, PPE requirements, and risk mitigation measures.
Ideal Candidate Profile
- Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Construction Management, or related field; equivalent field experience also considered.
- 5+ years of relevant electrical commissioning experience in mission-critical or complex power environments.
- Strong technical expertise in electrical distribution systems, PLCs, SCADA, switchgear, and electrical test equipment.
- Demonstrated leadership in field commissioning, troubleshooting, documentation, and issue management.
