Project Manager - Commissioning | Mission-Critical / Data Centers

The opportunity
Of course, this isn’t a desk job... You’ll be on the ground, leading multi-site projects that test your technical and leadership skills in equal measure.
The business has deep financial backing, a huge portfolio of ongoing hyperscale work, and regional commissioning teams across the US who set the benchmark for reliability, performance, and precision.
The role
You’ll plan and manage end-to-end commissioning across data centers and mission-critical facilities, from design through integrated systems testing.
You’ll coordinate internal and external teams, ensure flawless execution, and drive performance verification across power, cooling, and controls systems.
Every decision you make has a measurable impact on operational uptime and long-term efficiency.
Scope & responsibilities
- Lead and execute commissioning plans across multiple sites
- Coordinate engineers, contractors, and project partners to deliver on schedule
- Ensure systems meet safety, sustainability, and operational standards
- Report on progress, risks, and performance metrics with full transparency
- Implement best practices across projects to drive continuous improvement
What you bring
- Proven experience commissioning complex or mission-critical facilities
- Strong project leadership and communication skills
- A problem-solving mindset focused on reliability and performance
- Experience in data centers, industrial, or commercial systems
- Willingness to travel regionally (50–75% typical) on a 2 weeks on / 1 week off rotation
