ABOUT

Quite the journey for Luke at Thor Companies. Having joined back in 2014 as a recruitment consultant focusing on the Norwegian Oil and Gas industry, his pathway then led him briefly into Engineering, before finding his ‘recruitment home’ in Life Sciences, and Ireland. He spent several years building a team and partnering with some very exciting pharmaceutical and medical device companies. His last hurrah in recruitment was to enter Switzerland for a couple of years before transitioning to the Data and Technology Manager role. 

Whilst recruiting he always had a penchant for the use of technology in the role and managed our CRM system for a good while. With data and technology becoming more and more prominent in our industry, and with innovative and exciting RecTech companies popping up regularly, the need for a dedicated Data and Technology Manager becomes available in the summer of 2022. He grabbed the opportunity with both hands and hasn’t looked back. 

Outside of work he's an avid Gooner (Arsenal FC fan) and loves most sports. Cycling and running keeps him nice and fit, which is needed with two little ones at home. He enjoys music and especially live gigs/festivals, hanging out with friends, growing a tash in Movember and raising money, as well as good food. He also created a podcast in 2023, which he finds great fun.
